Minden Community Chorus was organized in 2002 and incorporated as a 501(c)(3) non-profit arts organization. Membership consists of volunteer singers from the city of Minden, Louisiana and surrounding communities in Webster, Claiborne, Bossier and Caddo parishes.

The Chorus prepares and presents three or four musical events each year, including the annual Candlelight Christmas Concert in early December, a varying-themed concert in early spring, and the community-wide God and Country Celebration each July.
